Here's a brief preview of the Zwift Grand Prix 23/24 Round 7 Points Hunter, the final race to decide the $10,000 winner-takes-all top prize!
The Zwift Grand Prix 23/24’s final round is for all the fame and fortune. Three months of top-tier cycling esports competition comes down to this!
The Zwift Race Team doubled the points for this race following the annulment of round one due to an untimely mistake— inadvertently enabling steering and braking.
The men’s and women’s teams will decide it with one Royal Pump Room 8 lap in a Points Hunter Format.
The women of Coalition Alpha consolidated their lead in the series with another dominant performance in round 6 led by standout Lou Bates. The NeXT eSports pb Enshored men are solidifying their reputation for being there when it counts with a round 6 victory, narrowing their margin to Abus-Synergy.
You can read the details of the annulment and statements from Zwift and indieVelo here.
The Winner-Takes-All $10,000 top prize is still up for grabs! You can’t ask for more from the final race of a hard-fought elite cycling esports series!

Congratulations to the racers and teams on an amazing performance in Round 6. Now to preview the Round 7 Points Hunter race format, course, teams, and where to watch!
Zwift Grand Prix 23/24 Round 7 - Points Hunter
In the Points Hunter format, every decision counts right from the gun as the riders bust out of the pens. Teams will need to communicate, coordinate, and make split-second strategic choices—should they rack up points early or take a flyer for the big rewards at the finale, knowing the high-stakes gamble could mean going home empty-handed?
The race features four intermediate locations, each with varying point values, alongside a limited number of points available at the finish line. However, riders who collect points at intermediate locations will be withdrawn from the race, ensuring that each rider can only score points once during this engaging event.
As riders pass through the lap arch at the end of the lead-in (4.4 km), they’ll receive an Aero PowerUp, adding an extra layer of strategy to this competitive race. With 80 riders starting the race, 14 eliminated at the four point-scoring intermediates, and 66 left to compete for glory at the finish line, it promises to be an action-packed event.
Total Riders: 80 (16 teams of 5)

Course—Yorkshire's Royal Pump Room 8
Infamously known as one of the hardest Zwift routes, the sawblade course profile carves out wicked steep slopes and barely enough recovery between leg-breaking climbs. A fitting route for an all or nothing final!
