It’s May, and it’s time for a new challenge! April training brings May results!
Training
Training: How far can you go this month? All rides count (free riding, pacing, training, racing), and your challenge is your cumulative total distance for the month.
Racing
Racing: It’s time to test out one of the new courses. In retrospect, last month’s challenge was too hard, so here’s a nice, easy one instead—Sprinters Climb!
Every hour throughout the month, there’s a special Time Trial event running in-game and highlighted in gold in the events tab in The Hub. You can enter as many times as you like. The challenge is to post the fastest time possible.
Both these challenges are now active on the server, so feel free to get started straight away. Good luck, and have fun!

In 2024, he was on-site in Abu Dhabi, covering the first live, in-person UCI Cycling Esports World Championship.
His contributions to cycling esports have not gone unnoticed, with his work cited in multiple research papers exploring this evolving discipline. He sits alongside esteemed esports scientists as a member of the Virtual Sports Research Network and contributes to groundbreaking research exploring the new frontier of virtual physical sport. Chris co-hosts The Virtual Velo Podcast, too.

I clicked on Challenges at the top of the screen. I can click on Spectate, but Challenge is in grey and unable to click on that.
I understand your frustration, Mike. I’ve never experienced that issue. I’m at a loss. Without knowing the device and game version you’re using it’s difficult for me to troubleshoot. I suggest that you raise the question on the indieVelo discord server or contact the developer directly at help@indievelo.com. I’m sorry I can’t be of further assistance.
