Route Description
Northern Hill Climb is one of the quartet of routes introduced to indieVelo in the v0.2.14 update on September 11th, 2023, alongside Little Loops, Mountain Top View, and So Near Yet So Far.
Northern Hill Climb is a concise route measuring 5.2 kilometers (3.2 miles) in length, including a 200-meter (656-foot) lead-in. The journey commences from North Lake and involves an elevation gain of 256 meters (840 feet).
The route primarily features two challenging climbs. The first one spans 1.5 kilometers (0.93 miles) with an average gradient of 6.4%, while the second climb covers 2.4 kilometers (1.49 miles) with an average gradient of 5.8%, culminating in a final 200-meter (656-foot) section with peaks at 15%.
