Here's a brief preview of the Zwift Grand Prix 23/24 Men's Round 4, along with a recap of the exciting action from the Round 3 Women's race.
Zwift Grand Prix 23/24 Men’s Round 4 is another chance for us community racers to take a page from the playbook of the sport’s elite teams and put it into play during next week’s Zwift Racing League. Teamwork will be center stage as the men measure themselves in a Team Time Trial on the 27.8 km Watopia’s Waistband.
Watch and learn where to consolidate and conserve as the racers eke out every efficient watt in a choreographed comingling of avatars.
Only the Men will compete in this round, marking the second of three consecutive rounds (Rounds 3-5) that mirror the ZRL courses and formats. It provides a valuable opportunity to observe the action while familiarizing yourself with the course. Good luck and enjoy!
The $100,000 Zwift Grand Prix 2023/24 series specifics are here! First, let’s recap last round’s action!
Round Three Women's Recap and Team Results
Women's Race
The third-round Women’s race was a dizzying six-lap points competition on the Glasgow Crit Circuit in Scotland. The action was fast and furious, with two sprint points in each 3-kilometer lap. After intently watching every second as the ladies left it all on the line and then personally experiencing it myself, I must admit that my head is still spinning.
When the dust settled, Coalition Alpha took the win on the back of a dominating performance by superstar Lou Bates. Bates took down a massive 146 points and the win. Aeonian came in second, and Hexagone took the podium’s final step.
Congratulations to the racers and teams for an amazing performance in Round 3. Now to preview the Round 4 race format, course, teams, and where to watch!
