The latest TrainingPeaks Virtual update, v0.4.24, released May 26th, introduces cruise control, a new course, and more to improve your ride.
Editor’s note: Since early June 2023, we’ve highlighted the rapid evolution of indieVelo with weekly update posts. Not everyone receives the emails or is a member of the various social media groups, and the more searchable mentions available, the better to promote the indieVelo, err, Training Peaks Virtual vision. The name is different, and the once-a-week cadence might change, but the commitment to promoting the platform hasn’t wavered.
A Note From the George Gilbert, TrainingPeaks Virtual Founder: |
On TrainingPeaks Virtual, we’re always striving to improve your training experience, helping you achieve better results with greater ease. In this week’s release, we’re excited to introduce “Cruise Control”, a game-changing feature for your virtual cycling workouts. |

Looking ahead, we remain committed to defining the future of virtual sport, working together with the community to shape the roadmap together. That plan will be guided by the needs of dedicated athletes, coaches and event organizers such as yourself and we’d love to hear your ideas for the features and experiences you want and need. Share your vision, discuss suggestions from others, and cast your votes in our dedicated Virtual UserVoice channel.
At TrainingPeaks Virtual, we believe training should be effortless to plan and as simple as possible to execute. Cruise Control is yet another innovative step in our journey to help you get the most out of every ride.
