The latest indieVelo update V0.2.4 released July 3, 2023, introduces Group Ride mode, Today's Plan integration, and experience enhancements.
V0.2.4 adds 2 crucial new elements to indieVelo’s mission to help provide the very best infrastructure for online racing.
Reactive Bot AI to push you as hard as you want. Bots now have the ability to more closely follow what you do when riding.
For initial testing, this AI is limited to group rides (simply select the group ride option when creating your own events and it will be automatically enabled). Any bots in the ride will then broadly match what the humans do. If you go fast, they’ll chase you down, if you go slow then they’ll slow down too (and even wait for you if you stop!).
Ride any course you want, any speed you want, your way.
3rd Party Integrations to give you the choices you want. indieVelo can now automatically upload your rides to Today’s Plan, and offers increased support for a wider range of Wahoo and Tacx trainers.
On top of all this, there’s some new in-game challenges for July, and a wide variety of improvements and fixes to the UI and stability of indieVelo. As always, these suggestions for what to include in each release are 100% driven by the community, so if there’s anything you would like to see, please do just let me know.
If all has gone well, then you shouldn’t have to do anything to get the new version, as indieVelo will just self-update the next time you start it up.
If you find any problems however, instructions on how to manually update are on the website:

The full patch notes are below!
“This, and all the other updates, came from suggestions made by athletes and team managers. With 100% of indieVelo’s roadmap decided by the community, please do keep your ideas coming for what you would like to see and how you would like indieVelo to continue to grow and develop, so that they can be included in future releases.
Thank you again for your continued support towards that shared vision of helping make online cycling the best it can possibly be!”
